The Bistra Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Бистра lednik Bistra ) is a 1.75 km long and 750 m wide glacier on Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Imeon Range it flows from the western slopes of Mount Foster and the northern slopes of Slaveykov Peak to the northwest by Zavet Saddle to the Drake Passage , which he south of Garmen Point reached.

Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Bistra in northeastern Bulgaria .
