The diocese of Aného ( Latin Dioecesis Anehensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in Togo , Aného is the bishopric . The diocese covers 2,712 km² and has 820,000 inhabitants, of which approx. 22% are Roman Catholic. In 2006, 46 diocesan and 11 religious priests worked in the 23 parishes of the archdiocese . The diocese was divided on July 1, 1994 from the Archdiocese of Lomé .
