The diocese of Kalyan ( Latin Dioecesis Callianensis ) is a diocese of the Syro-Malabar Church in India, united with the Roman Catholic Church . It is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Bombay .
history
The diocese was established on April 30, 1988 from areas of the Archdiocese of Bombay. The first bishop was Paul Chittilapilly .
