Diocese of Mirepoix
The Diocese of Mirepoix ( lat. : Dioecesis Mirapicensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Mirepoix .
history
The diocese of Mirepoix was on September 26, 1317 by Pope John XXII. Erected from cessions of territory by the Archdiocese of Toulouse . The first bishop was Raymond Atton d'Auterive . The diocese of Mirepoix was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Toulouse as a suffragan . It comprised about 120 parishes .
On November 29, 1801, the Diocese of Mirepoix was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the Papal Bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the Archdiocese of Toulouse and the Diocese of Carcassonne .
