Björn Danielsson (born August 14, 1977 in Märsta ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player and current coach .

Career

Björn Danielsson began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown with the Arlanda Wings , for whose professional team he was active from 1994 to 1999 in Division 1 , which was still second at the time . After the introduction of HockeyAllsvenskan as the new second division in Swedish ice hockey, the attacker scored a total of 49 points, including 23 goals, for his team in 46 games in the 1999/2000 season. He then moved to AIK Solna from the Elitserien for a year before signing with their league rivals Brynäs IF in the summer of 2001 , for whom he was regularly used until his retirement in 2009. In the 2009/10 season he returned to the ice, but only played two games for Team Gävle in Division 2 .

In the 2010/11 season Danielsson worked as an assistant coach at the second division IF Sundsvall Hockey . Since the 2011/12 season he has been assistant coach for the U16 juniors at Brynäs IF.
