Bjorn Dreier

Björn Dreier (born June 4, 1981 ) is a former German football player .

career

Dreier played in the youth of the Darmstadt Diamonds . He switched to the Berlin Adlers , with whom he reached the final of the German championship in 2004 and defeated the Braunschweig Lions in this .

In 2005 he won the World Games in Duisburg with the German national team . Dreier was also part of the German squad at the 2007 World Cup, where he won the bronze medal with the national team.

In May 2008, the 1.80 meter running back tore a cruciate ligament in a European Cup match and withdrew from competitive football for the time being. Dreier went through police training, in the run-up to the 2014 season he returned to the Adler squad. In the European Cup semi- final match against Swarco Raiders Tirol , Dreier was injured and missed the rest of the 2014 season.
