Björn Höhne (born March 27, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

society

Höhne began his volleyball career at the Berlin TSC . He later moved to VC Olympia Berlin and was appointed to the junior national team. The outside attacker was then hired by Bundesliga club Berlin Recycling Volleys , where he became German champion in 2012 and 2013 . Then he moved to league competitor TV Bühl . In 2014, Höhne moved to the top Belgian club Noliko Maaseik and in 2015 to Turkey to BAL Spor ChokOliva Izmir . In January 2016 he returned to Belgium and now plays for Topvolley Antwerp .

National team

Höhne led the U21 team as captain to the 2011 World Cup in Brazil , where it reached tenth place. In 2013, Höhne also made his first appearances in the senior national team and finished sixth at the European Championships in Denmark and Poland .

In 2015, Höhne won gold with the senior national team at the European Games in Baku .
