Björn Hertl (born August 10, 1976 in Miltenberg ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with TSV Buchbach since 2011 and is a central defender .

Career

Hertl came to the Munich area with his family in the early 1980s. He started at TSV Rosenberg in 1983 and came to SpVgg Unterhaching via TuS Holzkirchen . With this he rose to the Bundesliga in 1999 . In the first first division season he came to 20 missions. Since he was only allowed to play twice in the second Bundesliga year, he moved to Wacker Burghausen in 2001. As a regular player, he experienced promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga and is one of the players with the most appearances in the second division for SV Wacker. After relegation to the Regionalliga in 2007, he remained loyal to Wacker Burghausen, unlike many other top performers. He remained captain of the team and led them to the newly founded 3rd division. He was the top performer in a very young team. For the 2011/12 season he received no new contract with Wacker Burghausen and then moved to the Bayern League for TSV Buchbach . Due to private reasons, Hertl is no longer permanently available to TSV Buchbach from the 2012/13 season. However, his passport remains with the regional league team and he can join the game again at any time.
