The Black Nunatakker are a group of around nine Nunatakkers in Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . In the Grove Mountains they are 10 miles west-southwest of Mount Harding .
The nunatakkers were mapped using aerial photographs taken between 1956 and 1960 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it on July 29, 1965 after the Australian geophysicist Ian E. Black, who worked at Mawson Station in 1963 .
