The Blackberry Classic (also known as BlackBerry Q20 ) is a smartphone from the Canadian company Blackberry , which was presented on December 17, 2014 and which has a physical QWERTY keyboard that is typical for Blackberry devices . The operating system is based on Blackberry 10 . The Classic is similar to the design of the Blackberry Q10 .

The Classic has a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 × 720 pixels . Unlike the Blackberry Q10, the Classic doesn't dissolve in AMOLED . A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus with 1.5 GHz serves as the processor . The device has an internal memory of 16 GB. The Classic allows the use of microSD cards up to 256 GB. The battery is generally not removable.
software
The Classic can be updated to the Blackberry OS 10 version 10.3.3. Further updates of the Blackberry OS 10 are not planned with the exception of possible security updates.
criticism
The trade press praised the Classic for the ergonomics of the keyboard and the trackpad button. The robust construction of the Classic was also highlighted.
Sales figures
Since the sales figures could not meet the expectations of Blackberry , the company announced on July 5, 2016 that production of the Classic would be discontinued.
