Black Fox: The True Story of Adolf Hitler is an American documentary from 1962 .
action
The film interweaves the fable Reineke Fuchs by Johann Wolfgang Goethe with the life of the German dictator Adolf Hitler . Like the Fox, Hitler used demagoguery, malice and psychological tricks to achieve his political goals while proving his sincerity and right to political leadership.
Hitler's career is presented. He started out as a shrewd conspirator and a very effective speaker who responded to the bitterness and wishes of the losers in the war. Hitler's rise to Chancellor under Hindenburg, his maneuvers with the Communists as opponents and allies and his unprecedented cruelty towards helpless victims serve as an ironic counterpoint to Reineke's experiences in the animal world.
Hitler's destructiveness and self-destructive behavior is expressed through World War II and his death in the bunker.
