Black Tiger (OT: Japanese ブ ラ ッ ク ド ラ ゴ ン , Burakku Doragon ) is a computer game in the hack and slay genre . It was developed by Capcom as an arcade game in 1987 . This was followed by porting to other platforms, including the Commodore 64 .

A barbaric hero fights his way through a variety of enemy levels. You can move freely in any direction in the game and there are numerous hidden rewards in many levels. In the different levels you get to old men, here the player has the opportunity to buy improved armor, weapons, keys, anti-poisoning potions or life energy with coins.

Ports

In Europe, in 1989 US released Gold Black Tiger for the Amstrad CPC , Commodore Amiga , Atari ST and ZX Spectrum . A version for the Commodore 64 was published in 1990, this was developed by Softworx. There were further ports to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox . The arcade version of Black Tiger was released for Wii's Virtual Console in 2007 .
