Blair Parry-Okeden

Blair Parry-Okeden (* 1950 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an Australian heiress and, according to Forbes, the wealthiest person in Australia and one of the richest women in the world. Mid 2019 their assets to 10 billion US dollars estimated.

Life

Parry-Okeden was taught at La Pietra: Hawaii School for Girls , founded by her mother, Barbara Cox Anthony . Then she trained as a teacher. In 1977 she married the Australian Simon Parry-Okeden, with whom she has two sons. The couple has since divorced. Parry-Okeden continues to live in Australia today on land acquired from her mother. After the death of her mother, Parry-Okeden inherited 25% of the shares in Cox Enterprises in 2007 , which was founded by her grandfather James M. Cox . She does not currently have a role in the company run by her brother James C. Kennedy .
