Gustav Hokamp

Gustav Hokamp (born July 27, 1897 in Oetinghausen , † after 1933) was a German journalist and politician ( NSDAP ).

Hokamp attended the elementary school Oetinghausen, Realschule Herford and the Oberrealschule Bielefeld. From 1914 to 1918 he did military service. He then studied law and political science and veterinary medicine. In June 1924 the license to practice medicine followed and in July 1924 the doctorate to Dr. med. vet. From October 1924 he was an employee and from April 1925 the editor-in-chief of the business newspaper “Der Weltmarkt”. From January 1926 he was the first in-house counsel and managing director of the Northwest German Crafts Association in Hanover and chief editor of the Deutsche Allgemeine Handwerkszeitung and executive board member of the German Association of Young Craftsmen.

From April to July 10, 1933 he was a member of the Prussian State Council for the Province of Hanover . He was also a government commissioner for non-profit housing.
