The Blanke Schlatt is a protected landscape area under the number DH 00061 in the area of the town of Syke in the Lower Saxony district of Diepholz .
The Schlatt , a total of 3 hectares in the north-east of the Syker district Barrien , belongs to the city of Syke and was designated as a landscape protection area in 1969. It is in the state of transition bog to raised bog with strong peat moss growth . Since it is the only transition moor in the northern part of the Diepholz district, it is particularly worthy of protection .
