The house Blasiistraße 17 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located at the confluence of Blasiistraße on Hohe Straße, west of Quedlinburger Marktplatz. The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed as a Freihof in the Quedlinburg Monument Register.

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built in the 18th century on a property that was privileged as a free courtyard in historical times. The cellar with a groin vault is probably of an older date. The building was partially rebuilt and renewed in later times. In the house there is a staircase from the 19th century.

The Quedlinburg painter Karl Lempke (1907–1969) is said to have lived in the house for a while.

In the local monument register , the property is listed as a manor under registration number 094 46385 as a monument .
