The house Blasiistraße 9 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the south side of Blasiistraße, southwest of the Quedlinburg market square. The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg Register of Monuments . To the east is the also listed building Blasiistraße 8 , to the west is the house Blasiistraße 10 .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built by the carpenter Peter Dünnehaupt in 1674. The inscription M. PETER DUENHOUPT with a coat of arms refers to him . The half-timbered facade presents itself with ornamental forms from the transition period from the late renaissance to the early baroque . The half- man form and St. Andrew's cross can be found on the framework . On the first floor, the compartments are provided with decorative brickwork.

In the courtyard of the property there is also a three-storey storage building from the Baroque period .
