The Blue Lake (Ukrainian Синє озеро / Synje Osero , Russian Синее озеро / Sineie Osero ) is a lake in the Ukrainian capital Kiev .
geography
The lake with a surface of about 15 hectares (1982) is located in the northwest of the city in the Stadtrajon Podil on the watershed of the Dnepr and Irpin . It is fed by ground and surface water and has a length of 700 m and a width of 200 m.
fauna
The following 12 species of fish are found in the lake: pike , roach , rudd , moderlieschen , bitterling , crucian carp , gable , carp , brook loach , river perch , loach and river goby .
