The Podil Raion (Ukrainian Подільський район / Podilskyj raion ; Russian Подольский район / Podolski rajon ) is one of ten administrative districts ( Rajons ) of the city of Kiev , the capital of Ukraine .

Today's Rajon was founded in 1921 and is located in the western part of the city on the right Dneprufer . Podil has 208,281 inhabitants and an area of about 34 km². The population density is 5820 inhabitants per km² (2016). In the northwest of the Rajon is the city's largest cemetery with 152 hectares and to the north of this is the Blue Lake .
