Bleach , also known as Bleach: The Soul Reaper Agent Arc , is a 2018 Japanese fantasy action film based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo . The main roles are played by Sota Fukushi and Hana Sugasaki.
action
15 year old Ichigo Kurosaki lives in Karakura Town with his father Isshin and two sisters Yuzu and Karin. He is delinquent and because of his light hair color he is often offensive. In addition, he has had the ability to see ghosts since he was a child, something that has recently become more common.
One evening in his bedroom he meets a girl in a black kimono armed with a katana who is sending the ghost of a man who has haunted Ichigo home to a place called Soul Society. She is surprised and amazed that he can see her and explains to her that she is a Shinigami (a soul reaper). Before they elaborate, however, a hollow, a hateful soul devouring other souls, attacks the house and kidnaps Ichigo's sister Yuzu. The hollow, however, is after Ichigo's soul and the Shinigami begins to fight, but it is injured. Unable to continue fighting, she transfers her powers to Ichigo so that Ichigo can save his family. However, this absorbs all of their powers and becomes a shinigami itself. When Ichigo wakes up the next morning, all of his injuries and those of his family are gone. His family has forgotten everything and believes a truck crashed into the house while they were sleeping.
At school, Ichigo suddenly meets the Shinigami girl again, who is now visible to everyone and makes it clear to him that he was not dreaming. She introduces herself as Rukia Kuchiki and explains to him that the Shinigami have the task of transferring the good souls to the Soul Society, while they destroy the evil souls, the Hollows, in order to protect the good ones. Rukia cannot return to her world because Ichigo has absorbed all of her powers and wants to get them back from him. However, the process fails because Ichigo is too weak and cannot control the Shinigami powers. That's why Rukia demands that Ichigo temporarily take over her tasks to train his soul so that he can give her her strength back. Ichigo initially refuses because he just wanted to protect his family. However, he is forced to a hard training by Rukia, which he reluctantly endures. Rukia even moves into Ichigo's closet for this.
In the meantime, Rukia's disappearance has been noticed in her world and her brother Byakuya, a Shinigami commander, sends his deputy, the elite fighter Renji Abarai, to Karakura, where Ichigo takes care of Ichigo on the way home. Before he can kill him, however, Renji is attacked with arrows by a stranger and has to flee. The next day, it turns out that one of his classmates, Uryuu Ishida, was the mysterious attacker. He belongs to the Quincy race, who were nearly exterminated by the Shinigami, and wants to challenge Ichigo to fight by artificially triggering a hollow invasion. Ichigo hears the ghost of a boy screaming, whom he has visited regularly in the past few weeks and wants to save him from one of the hollows, but Renji and Byakuya reappear. They want to kill Ichigo and take Rukia with them, because she has broken the Shinigami code by transferring her powers to Ichigo. They give her an ultimatum until the next full moon to regain her strength.
Ichigo realizes that Rukia is trying to protect him and bursts into a meeting of the three. He offers them to hunt down the Hollow Grand Fischer, whom the Shinigami have been hunting for 54 years, in order to restore Rukia to her strength with the strength he gained. For this, Rukia should be spared the death penalty. Byakuya agrees and Ichigo intensifies his training with Rukia - not knowing that he should only serve as a decoy for the hollow. During training, Ichigo began to suspect that Grand Fischer killed his mother Masaki years ago. Ichigo was there at the time and has since made great blame for feeling responsible for her death.
On the day his mother died, the family went to Masaki's grave, where they were attacked by Grand Fischer in the form of a little girl. Ichigo manages to save his sisters and, despite his deceptions, lure the hollow away with visions of his mother. A fight ensues at the city's train station, and Ichigo's friends can at least sense Ichigo. With the help of Uryuu, Ichigo finally succeeds in defeating and destroying Grand Fischer.
Shortly afterwards, however, Byakuya and Renji reappear to kill both him and Rukia because he still has his powers. Until now, to protect Ichigo, Rukia had not allowed her powers to be restored and now, since she has broken the code and has become too human in the eyes of her brother, she should die with Ichigo. Ichigo fights the two. He can defeat Renji, but is seriously injured in the fight against Byakuya. To save Ichigo, Rukia pushes him away. She explains that she has come to her senses and agrees to follow the two again to be washed clean of her sins in the Soul Society. Severely injured, Ichigo transfers his powers back to Rukia before he passes out.
Ichigo wakes up unharmed in his room. The experience seems like a dream to him. Rukia has returned to Soul Society and is happy that she made a friend in Ichigo - even if no one in the world of the living remembers her. When Ichigo comes to school and opens his textbook, he finds a message that Rukia had once scribbled into it. He starts smiling and it becomes clear that Ichigo can remember everything.
