Blut + Eisen was a German hardcore punk band from Hanover, founded in 1982 .

Band members were Schotte (vocals), Slinky (guitar), Krösus (bass) and Karl (drums). 1) The band name is based on a quote from Otto von Bismarck . 2) They released their records with Weird System from Hamburg , one of the great German punk labels of the 80s. In 1987 the band broke up, some members were or are also active with the Cretins . In 1994 and 2002 there were two more joint concerts in the UJZ Glocksee in Hanover. In autumn 2007 the band decided to reunite, but hardly any activities followed. A performance in Verden in April 2009 was announced as the “very last show” .
