Bluttat is a punk band from Mülheim an der Ruhr , founded in 1981 , which, like Die Lokalmatadore, emerged from the band Pissrinne.

history

In 1981 the band was founded by Jörg, Ralph and Hans-Uwe. During a factory occupation they became aware of Anja Mülders and hired her as a singer. In the same year one of her songs was published on the H'Artcore sampler. In 1982 the band's first album, Liberté, was released . With this they were among the co-founders of the German anarcho-punk scene. The album Nkululeko followed two years later . After the album Cash, Invoice or Credit Card , the group disbanded in 1986. From then on, the members played in various other bands: singer Mülders with PayBack, bassist Hans-Uwe with Kluesen and The Prangles and guitarist Jörg with Melon Xpress, Stahlhamster and Antiplug. In 1998 Bluttat gave two more concerts. In 2009 they performed at the Ruhrpott Rodeo in Hünxe . Even in the 2010s, the band occasionally played individual concerts.

In November 2017, Bluttat performed in several concerts in Colombia.
