ǁKhauxaǃnas is a historic, pre-colonial city of the Namibian tribe of the Nama from the 18th century, located in the Great Karas Mountains near Karasburg in southern Namibia.

ǁKhauxaǃnas was founded in the course of the founding of Cape Town and the migration of the Nama from the Cape Province under Klaas Afrikaner at the end of the 18th century as a mountain town that was difficult to access. After the northern migration of the Nama under Jonker Afrikaner around 1820, the ǁKhauxaǃnas fortress was taken over by the Veldschoendrager , who called it and the surrounding area as Schans Vlakte . During the wars in German South West Africa between 1904 and 1907, the fortress served as a retreat for the Nama under Jakobus Morenga .

ǁKhauxaǃnas is an important, often unexplored testimony to the culture and society in pre-colonial Southern Africa .
