Boac is a Philippine municipality in the province of Marinduque . It has 54,730 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). Boac is the seat of the provincial government of the Marinduque Province. The place was founded in 1579. Portions of the Marinduque Wildlife Sanctuary are in the parish territory.

The Marinduque State College is located in the community.
