Gasan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Marinduque . It has 34,828 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 15 barangays . It is located in the southwest of the island, on the Sibuyan Sea . Portions of the Marinduque Wildlife Sanctuary are in the community area. The island's regional airport, which is used by a flight school, is located in Barangay Masiga. There are no scheduled flights.
