Robert Hawkes "Bob" Gray (born April 25, 1939 in Brattleboro , Vermont ) is a former American cross-country skier .

Gray first took part in the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , France . In the 15 km race, he finished 48th. In the season about 4 × 10 km he reached 12th place together with Mike Gallagher , Mike Elliott and John Bower . In 1972 he started over 30 and 50 kilometers and came 42nd and 33rd.

Gray received the Finlandia Award for special achievements in the US cross-country skiing.

Gray is married to alpine skier Kim Mumford . Together they opened an inn and ski touring center in Randolph , Vermont. They later moved to Newbury , Vermont, where they run a small farm.
