Bob Nelson
Bob Nelson (born July 18, 1956 in Yankton , South Dakota ) is an American screenwriter and director.
Life
Nelson has worked as an actor and writer on television for years, including Almost: Live! . In 2013 the film Nebraska was produced based on his script . For Nelson, this was the first feature film he was involved in. For his screenplay, he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Original Screenplay in 2014 . He also received u. a. a nomination for the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay , as well as at the British Academy Film Awards 2014 .
His first film as a director was The Confirmation, with Clive Owen and Jaeden Lieberher in the lead roles. The film was released in theaters in 2016.
