The Bobby Rocks are an ice-free rock formation in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They tower 4 miles south of the Ricker Hills in the Prince Albert Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1956 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1968 after Bobby J. Davis, commissioner of the winter team at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Year 1966.
