Bobo Forro is a place in the Mé-Zóchi district on the island of São Tomé in the island state of São Tomé and Príncipe . In 2012 there were 715 inhabitants.

The place is at an altitude of approx. 50  m about 2.5 kilometers southwest of the capital São Tomé below the hill Oquê Bôbô on the road to Trindade .

In 2015 a power station (centrale électrique Bobo Forro 2) was built.

Surname

The name of the place refers to the ethnic group of the Forros (Filhos da terra, in the Creole language : "released slave").
