A ground radio station (in short: BodenFuSt; English aeronautical station ) - according to the definition of the International Telecommunication Union, is a fixed radio station of the mobile aeronautical service .

In certain cases, a ground radio station can be located in a military vehicle , on board a marine vehicle or on a platform at sea (e.g. R-149BM , Sea Launch , drilling platform ).
