The Bogler storage jar is a ceramic storage container that was designed by Theodor Bogler in 1923 and is considered a modern classic . The vessel is manufactured today by the HB workshops for ceramics in Marwitz .

The shape of the storage jar is based on basic geometric elements. The cream-colored container with a glaze has a lid and large-format lettering for the contents. There are large and small storage jars, the smaller jars are intended for spices such as salt, ginger and cinnamon and the larger containers are intended for products such as flour, sugar, peas and coffee.

Theodor Bogler learned the pottery trade in the ceramics workshop at the Bauhaus in Dornburg and passed the journeyman's examination in 1922 . He designed the storage jar in 1923 for the kitchen of the Am Horn model house in Weimar . There, several storage jars with jug-like vessels for oil and vinegar, also designed by him, belonged to a nine-piece kitchen set.
