The Bogomil Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Богомил saliw Bogomil ) is a 0.97 km wide and 0.77 km long bay on the west coast of Rugged Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is north of Kokalyane Point and south of Ugain Point .
British scientists mapped them in 1968, Spanish ones in 1992 and Bulgarian ones in 2005 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2006 after the Christian religious community of the Bogomils founded in Bulgaria in the 10th century .
