The Kokalyane Point (English; Bulgarian нос Кокаляне nos Kokaljane ) is a headland on the west coast of Rugged Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms 0.81 km north of Benson Point , 0.97 km south of Ugain Point and 2.51 km south of Cape Sheffield the south side of the entrance to Bogomil Cove .

British scientists mapped it in 1968, Spanish in 1992 and Bulgarian in 2005, 2009 and 2010. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the town of Kokaljane in western Bulgaria .
