Bohdaniwka ( Ukrainian Богданівка ; Russian Богдановка Bogdanowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Dnipropetrovsk with about 5000 inhabitants (2004).
Geographical location
The village is located in Pavlohrad Raion , 23 km east of the Rajon center Pavlohrad on the left bank of the Velyka Terniwka ( Велика Тернівка ), an 80 km long tributary of the Samara . The city of Ternivka lies on the opposite bank of the river . The Dnipro Oblast Center is located about 75 km west of Bohdanivka.

The village is the administrative center of the 362.8 km² district council of the same name with a total of about 7000 inhabitants, to which, in addition to Bohdaniwka, the villages Nowa Datscha ( Нова Дача ) with about 1200 inhabitants, Nowa Rus ( Нова Русь ) with about 340 population, Kochiwka ( Кохівка ) with about 320 inhabitants, Marjiwka ( Мар'ївка ) with about 250 inhabitants Samarske ( Самарське ) of about 160 population, Schachtarske ( Шахтарське ) with 100 residents, Selene ( Зелене ) with 100 residents and Merzaliwka ( Мерцалівка ) with about 60 inhabitants.
