Bohumír Stehlík (* 1990 in Prague ) is a Czech pianist.

Career

He studied at the Music Academy in Prague with Irina Kondratenko and Frantisek Maly and he received his Masters at the Edsberg Music Institute , part of the Royal Music Academy Stockholm , with Mats Widlund . He also studied conducting with Jiri Smutny . He won prizes at the international music competitions "Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte", "Concertino Praga", "Stockholm International Music Competition", "Yamaha Scholarship Award", "Chieri International Music Competition Citta di Chieri", "Salieri-Zinneti Chamber Music Competition "," ProMusicis International Award "in France," ISA Open Awards "in Austria.

Artistic activity

Because of his passion for chamber music, he has given concerts regularly at the Moritzburg Festival , the D'Accord Festival , the Schönberger Musiksommer , the Trelleborg International Piano Festival, the ICMF Stavanger, and the Stockholm Piano Festival. He worked with the flutist Jana Jarkovska, the cellist Mathias Johansen , the violinist Martina Trumpp , the actor Frederic Böhle . He teaches at the Janácek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno and the Music College Ingesund - University of Karlstad and has recorded for Czech radio .
