Bom Jesus , officially Município de Bom Jesus , is a city and municipality in the state of Piauí in northeastern Brazil . In 2010 the city had 22,629 inhabitants who live in an area of 5,469.161 km².
The city is the seat of the Roman Catholic diocese Bom Jesus do Gurguéia .
