BonVenture is a social venture capital fund. The BonVenture Group is the first investment company in German-speaking countries to use the principle of socially responsible risk capital to support social entrepreneurs and social businesses .
activity
As a social investor , the BonVenture Group has been promoting social entrepreneurship since 2003. BonVenture makes it a condition that these social enterprises solve social problems with innovative, multipliable concepts. BonVenture supports social enterprises with socially responsible risk capital and, in particular, with advice and network contacts. The selection and support process follows the approach of venture capital programs.
BonVenture works to further develop the social sector (also: nonprofit sector ). To this end, BonVenture is in close contact with business, science and the various actors in the social sector. BonVenture is one of the co-authors of the Social Reporting Standard (SRS) published in 2010, which promotes transparency in the social sector. The GmbH is a signatory of the Transparent Civil Society Initiative .
Working in accordance with Venture Philanthropy
BonVenture operates on the basis of venture philanthropy and therefore pursues a non-profit approach at investor level. Investors do not seek personal material gain. In terms of the three-pillar model (also: Triple Bottom Line ), the goal is to achieve the highest possible social, ecological or societal added value (social impact).
