Bonerama is an American radio - Brass Band from New Orleans .
history
In 1998 the group was founded by the two trombonists Mark Mullins and Craig Klein . The extraordinary line-up consists of four trombones , a guitar , a sousaphone and a drum kit . The band has performed at several well-known jazz festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 2006 and the JazzFest Berlin in 2008 .
At the Sugar Bowl on January 1, 2008, Bonerama played the US national anthem.
The group has released several CDs, most of which are live recordings of concerts.
