Bonev Peak

The Bonev Peak (English, Bulgarian Бонев връх Bonew wrach ) is a 850  m high and mostly icy mountain on the Eurydice Peninsula on the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 3.9 km southeast of Meusnier Point and 4.77 km northwest of Mitkaloto Peak . Its steep north-west slopes are partly not iced. The Charlotte Bay is south-west and west of it, their side bay Recess Cove , north and Nobile Glacier north-east of him.

British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the geologist and mountain guide Kamen Bonew, who was active in several campaigns at the St. Kliment-Ohridski station from 1998 onwards.
