The Meusnier Point is a headland at the Danco Coast of the West Antarctic Graham Lands . It is located as the western branch of the Eurydice Peninsula 6 km southeast of Portal Point on the shores of Charlotte Bay .
Participants in the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery mapped them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the French engineer and General Jean-Baptiste Meusnier de la Place (1754-1793), who in 1784 had developed plans to build the first controllable impact airship .
