Bonn is a settlement in the US state of Ohio .
Geographical location
Bonn is a scattered settlement that stretches along County Road 11. The settlement is located in the southeast of the state in Washington County near the border with West Virginia and is part of the greater Marietta area .
history
Just like the nearby Germantown , Bonn was founded by German emigrants in the 19th century and named after Bonn in Germany. At times, there were plans of the local industrialists Nahum Ward the site by mulberry tree - plantations and a silk mill to economic recovery to help, but they were never implemented.
