The Borbet Austria GmbH , formerly "Austria cast aluminum" is an aluminum wheels producer of Braunau-Ranshofen in Upper Austria .

Borbet Austria was founded in 1983 under the name Alu-Guß GmbH as a 100% subsidiary of AMAG ( Austria Metall AG). AAG was privatized on January 1st , 1996 and is now part of the Borbet Group . On January 1st, 2009 the company Austria Alu-Guß was renamed and is now called Borbet Austria. The owner is Peter Wilhelm Borbet.

She supplies u. a. Audi , AMG , BMW including Mini , Daimler AG , Rolls-Royce , General Motors , Land Rover , Magna Steyr , Porsche , Škoda , Seat and Volkswagen .
