Borhausen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Borhausen is a submerged settlement of today's municipality of Bromskirchen in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse .

location

The place was in the upper part of the Inselbach valley about one and a half kilometers west of today's hamlet Dachsloch . The settlement still exists under the field name in Reedchen .

history

The village was owned by Diedenshausen. In 1394 Gerlach von Diedenshausen sold his entire share in the village to Brosken von Viermünden . This sell-out by the Diedenshausen knights could be one reason for the decline of the village.
