Lee Seo-woo (March 1, 1633 in Seoul , † October 14, 1709 ) was a Korean philosopher, poet and politician during the Joseon Dynasty , when Korea was under Manchu rule. He was a supporter of the 남인 party (≈ Party of the South Men). As a philosopher, he succeeded the neo-Confucian thinkers Heo Mok and Yun Hyu . He used the pseudonyms Songgok ( 송곡 ) and Songpha ( 송파 ).
