Boris Blank (born January 15, 1952 ) is a Swiss musician and founding member of the band Yello .

life and career

Boris Blank founded the band Yello together with Carlos Perón in the late 1970s . After Perón left the band, he has formed the band with Dieter Meier , who has also been a member of the band since 1979, since 1984 . Blank is the composer of Yello's songs and primarily takes care of the instrumental part. Apart from that, he is also active as a film music composer. His favorite sampler is the Fairlight CMI , which he says has changed his world.

Blank now lives in Zurich . He is married and has a daughter.
