Boris Uran (born September 30, 1983 in Villach ) is an Austrian pop singer . In the first season of Starmania , he reached third place.
Boris Uran began taking piano lessons at the age of eight. He taught himself drums and guitar as an autodidact . He is also an eight-time national youth champion in pool .
In April 2003, the debut single appeared Sometimes , published in June 2003 Universal Music album I . In 2004 he received the Golden Romy as the most popular male shooting star. Also in 2004 he was nominated twice for an Amadeus Austrian Music Award .
In 2004 he presented the ORF program Play Music , which was discontinued after a few broadcasts due to a lack of viewers.
In the summer of 2006, Uran had herself admitted to a psychiatric clinic because of depression. Before that, he was released from his contract with Universal Music.
