Bork Havn

Bork Havn , also called Bork Hafen , is originally a fishing village in the Danish Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality in the Midtjylland region in western Jutland . Today it is a holiday resort at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord , east of the Tipperne bird sanctuary. It lies between Tarm and Nr. Nebel in Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality . Bork Havn was founded in 1933 by the Bork Fisheries Association. The port consists of a marina with space for approx. 290 leisure boats, a fishing port and a port for houseboats .

The port is best known for the Bork Havn Music Festival , which has been held every year since 1979. A secondary school is located just outside the village. You can also get windsurfing lessons right on the fjord. Nearby is the famous Bork Vikingehavn , a recreated Viking village that belongs to the Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum .
