Öhringhausen is a village in the southern Sauerland with 101 inhabitants. It forms a village and the eponymous local authority district 11 of the city of Drolshagen in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Olpe .

Öhringhausen is located south of Frenkhausen , separated by the federal highway 45 . Together with the local authority districts of Frenkhausen and Wintersohl , the place forms the former school community of Öhringhausen.

Öhringhausen viaduct

About one kilometer east of the village center, the federal highway 54 crosses the A 45 at the Olpe junction and runs over the Öhringhausen viaduct to Drolshagen. In the summer of 2017, it became known that the prestressed concrete bridge built in 1966 would be demolished by blasting in spring 2018 at the latest to make way for a new building. It is expected that the B 54 between Drolshagen and Olpe will be closed for a period of two years.
