Wintersohl (Drolshagen)

Wintersohl is a hamlet in the southern Sauerland with 27 inhabitants. It forms a locality and together with driving bulkheads the eponymous local authority district 13 of the city of Drolshagen in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Olpe . The village of Fahrenschotten is a single farm with a listed farmhouse built in 1800 with five residents and a holiday home.

Wintersohl lies to the west of Frenkhausen , separated by the federal highway 45 at Kreisstraße 13. Together with the districts of Frenkhausen and Öhringhausen , the place forms the former school community of Öhringhausen. The Wintersohler Bach flows through the place, which rises near Germinghausen and flows into the Rose shortly after crossing under the federal highway 54/55 .
