Borys Yakovlev
Borys Jakowlew ( Ukrainian Борис Яковлев , English transcription Borys Yakovlev; born July 16, 1945 in Petrowsk ; † June 23, 2014 ) was a Ukrainian walker who started for the Soviet Union .
In the 20 km walking he finished seventh at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1969 and Helsinki in 1971 and fourth in 1978 in Prague .
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he was disqualified in walking 50 km .
